Anybody going to the tailgate thing tomorrow night (Friday night)?

I think I might have to turn it into a Hillsborough Hike.

There are supposed to be specials and live music, at all the different bars. With the weather and this being the first one it might not all come together perfectly. But again the people organizing it have done some pretty cool stuff so far.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'll probably go to 1-2 bars for 3-4 hrs. But I'm not doing any marathon drinking.

Game's at 6pm Saturday. So I'll get up around 12, get to the fairgrounds around 1, and start drinking. If you're really getting slammed at night drinking, you can't recover by 12 the next day. (or am I just getting old? )

On 2nd thought I did a 7 hour turnaround the day after my birthday, but that was a fluke!

I usually just aim for 1 drink (usually beer) per venue. But if its a popular hike like the H'borough Hike you get a lot of douchebags that go straight to the bars towards the end, and the fuck it up for all the real hikers b/c they can't get into the bar to get a drink. Instead they wait in line and lose their buzz

I went to East village and Farmhouse, tried Katmandu but it was closed for a private party. The 'hike' seemed pretty lame, we ended up at Sammy's.
