Why the hell did a story begin on an episode of Law and Order, then conclude on Homicide: Life on the Street? How the fuck is my DVR supposed to know that I only got half the story?

According to Wikipedia, they did this with 3 episodes

I've seen every SVU and Criminal Intent episode, and about 250-300 episodes of the original Law and Order series. I wish TBS would have a 400-hour marathon of Law and Order from episode 1 to present.

lol... I love L&O (all of them), but a 400 hour marathon is a bit much.

Regarding the OP, I hate that too.

If you look at the original post I only watch Law and Order when the sun isn't out.

why would TBS want to have a Law & Order marathon when TBS doesn't even show L&O to begin with?

Now TNT on the other hand...

I don't know why they did that, but boy did I get lucky in watching the full story.

so television has finally come out and admitted that cop shows are all pretty much the same? thats a bold move on their part.
i hate the show but i'm glad CSI came around and consolidated the cop/lawyer/doctor show into one program.
i still think that by the year 2012 the majority of the united states' landmass will be devoted to producing cop shows

My favorite was the one where they sent Briscoe to LA for some crossover episode. The dude just looked weird in sunlight.

Homicide blows L&O out of the water (except for maybe the last couple seasons which kind of suck)...it's especially awesome if you're a fan of The Wire because you can see alot of the same actors and some similar story lines.
