While I quite enjoyed the spring and summer seasons, I desire a change of climate and scenery. The long, hot, sticky days are wearing thin on my nerves and I find myself longing for crisp, cool weather. I have sweaters that are just aching to be worn and my hair would love to return to it's normal, non-frizzy state.

Just imagine it, Raleigh. The crisp evenings, people sipping hot cocoa, the smell of autumn in the air, no more raunchy sweat stains in clothing...

Please consider the possibilities. It doesn't have to be so hot all of the time. A little change now and then can be wonderful.

Respectfully Yours,
Ceiling Cat

The piedmont only has 2 seasons: Hot and Cold.

I'm from the western part of the state where we had four distinct seasons. I miss that

Autumn is my favorite season, it's a shame it's practically non-existent in this part of the state. Now that I think about it, the lack of "football weather" may explain why all the teams around here consistently suck donkey dick.

This has been a lovely summer.

I <3 fall and winter, but I'm not ready for the hot weather to pass.

If I was 70 I'd think 85 was cold. I want the weather to be about 60 for 3+ months.

More like Hot, Warm, and Cool. You can usually count the number of really cold days per year on two hands.

They had a tight old school LL Bean leather bomber jacket at the thrift store last week. Looked like a Medium or a small Large though. I would totally be rocking that this winter if it were my size.

we have two seasons hot and mild/cool. we don't even touch cold.

there will be like one football game in november where it is slightly uncomfortable to be outside. this is why we have beer. i like fall. and i really like winter. i also enjoy summer. spring...i don't like

I'm from the Asheville area (mountain girls ftw), so yeah, to me, Raleigh is hotter than hell on the fourth of July. The humidity is the worst part though.

If you don't like the weather than GTFO!!!

I hate nothing worse than cold winter days when the sun is barely at the horizon when i go to work and is pretty much set when i leave work. Compared to Aug 2007; Aug 2008 was rather mild. I only remember a few days where I felt oppressed by the heat/humidity. Someone else could verify but I am sure that June was oddly the warmest month this 2008 summer season.

On that note i'd say Raleigh seasons are as follows

March to Early May- Warm weather
Late May thru Sept- Hot and Humid
Oct till early Dec- Warm weather with occasion cool periods
Late Dec thru Feb- Rainy Cool/Mild with occasion cold snaps that usually don't last more than a week
