While I quite enjoyed the spring and summer seasons, I desire a change of climate and scenery. The long, hot, sticky days are wearing thin on my nerves and I find myself longing for crisp, cool weather. I have sweaters that are just aching to be worn and my hair would love to return to it's normal, non-frizzy state.Just imagine it, Raleigh. The crisp evenings, people sipping hot cocoa, the smell of autumn in the air, no more raunchy sweat stains in clothing...Please consider the possibilities. It doesn't have to be so hot all of the time. A little change now and then can be wonderful.Respectfully Yours,Ceiling Cat

The piedmont only has 2 seasons: Hot and Cold.I'm from the western part of the state where we had four distinct seasons. I miss that

i'm not ready to give up on the summer quite yet.i just ordered a new wakeboard.

Autumn is my favorite season, it's a shame it's practically non-existent in this part of the state. Now that I think about it, the lack of "football weather" may explain why all the teams around here consistently suck donkey dick.
9/8/2008 11:14:04 AM
THAT'S TOTALLY IT
9/8/2008 11:15:28 AM
This has been a lovely summer.I <3 fall and winter, but I'm not ready for the hot weather to pass.
9/8/2008 11:21:13 AM
as i stated in the thinking thread...i love fall more than any other season...but f those big f'ing brown spiders that come out and hang on everything in the middle of the night when i can't see them and try to eat me when i'm leaving my house in the mornings and coming into the office
9/8/2008 11:23:02 AM
literally, they try to eat people.

Indeed using the genitalia of Equus asinus in a metaphor is always the classy way to go.

raleigh is just humid as fuck[Edited on September 9, 2008 at 11:55 PM. Reason : ^haha, damn]
9/9/2008 11:55:26 PM
I'm from the Asheville area (mountain girls ftw), so yeah, to me, Raleigh is hotter than hell on the fourth of July. The humidity is the worst part though.
9/10/2008 12:03:39 AM
If you don't like the weather than GTFO!!!I hate nothing worse than cold winter days when the sun is barely at the horizon when i go to work and is pretty much set when i leave work. Compared to Aug 2007; Aug 2008 was rather mild. I only remember a few days where I felt oppressed by the heat/humidity. Someone else could verify but I am sure that June was oddly the warmest month this 2008 summer season. On that note i'd say Raleigh seasons are as followsMarch to Early May- Warm weatherLate May thru Sept- Hot and HumidOct till early Dec- Warm weather with occasion cool periodsLate Dec thru Feb- Rainy Cool/Mild with occasion cold snaps that usually don't last more than a week[Edited on September 10, 2008 at 12:05 AM.
