Uh huh "guidance," I'm sure Dr. Hardin would love this.

the labs were time consuming but he basically gives you an outline at the end of every chapter of what to put in the report.

Plus, the TA grades them (or at least use to)...so unless the TA is a dick you shouldn't be worried.

Dr. Brown? Tall, skinny, white guy that teaches micro and always wears a red belt??

I was going to circumvent 412 via Bit410 because i hear the lab is such a bitch but if Dr. Brown teaches it SWEET ASS. I love that dude

No, different Dr. Brown. I saw him without a red belt one time, no lie. His Microbial Diversity class was excellent.

Dr. Brown, older guy, use to (might still be) head of the Biochemistry department. Reminds me of a young Stan Lee for some reason. He usually teaches a section or two in the Spring, and he teaches the summer session of the class as well. He is equally as nice, and the lab more relaxing than Dr. Hardin's.

Dr. Hardin will call people out for some crazy shit, and it puts people on edge, the class isn't really that hard though, he can just be an asshole sometimes. That being said, if you go ask him for help and show honest interest he will bend over backwards to help you.

^^^The 412 lab was pretty easy. Some of them went the full 2.5 hours, but I learned a lot of good stuff and it was never hard.

However, for straight lab technique knowledge, you'd prob be better off with a BIT class.
