Fuck a Holley. Ben, what you want is an Autolite 2100 or 2150. I love them, and they are simple as hell. I could prolly score you one and rebuild it for a good price. Seriously.
Whatcha putting it on? is it the small pattern 2-barrel (like a Carter BBD or old Stromberg or Rochester 2G) or the big pattern (think Holley 5200, Autolite 2100/2150 or Rochester DuoJet 2M).
I hate Holley carbs worse than I hate getting kicked in the nuggets. 9/12/2008 11:51:55 AM |

check out my gallery, i got a new toy. Its got a holley 1904 on it now, which i am not sure is stock. The 2100 supposedly bolts right on. Truck has the 265 ci I6 in it. Runs good, but has no power. I am hoping its a carb issue. 9/12/2008 12:07:28 PM |

One thing you have be careful of with the Autolite's is the screw in fuel filters breaking off at the threads. I hate those damn things. 9/13/2008 2:28:24 PM |
