it's kinda weird. it sounds like he's trying out a lot of new material, so it's not as polished as his first two albums. he ramps up the "that joke was retarded" thing quite a lot. but it's definitely worth a listen. 9/16/2008 5:00:04 PM |

None of it's close to finished...right after he died, his wife said that the last joke she found in his notebook was, "Do you believe in gosh?" 9/16/2008 5:17:47 PM |

I've got a door deal. Tonight I'm working for fifty percent of the door, and tomorrow I'm working for fifty percent of the door, so on Sunday, I'll have a door. 9/19/2008 2:13:44 PM |

His first album wasn't even close to polished...so I can't imagine what this one is like (although that's one of the reasons why I liked his first album so much).
Can you buy it on itunes?9/19/2008 2:24:58 PM |

Yeah, it's on iTunes.
His first album wasn't polished, but the material was. There are very few jokes that fall flat on the first album, and most of the jokes that don't get an immediate laugh are the ones that the audience doesn't get initially ("Man, you really like Tide.") or the ones he doesn't finish.
There are a bunch of bits on the new record that are obviously in the first stage of development and hadn't been worked out in front of an audience on very many nights. 9/19/2008 2:29:04 PM |

yeah, i meant his material, not the production values.
