also, I think the whole Foux Da Fa Fa sequence, starting when they're standing outside on the sidewalk, and ending in the Disco, is one of the best scenes on TV ever

Yeah, all the songs kinda sucked. Hell, actually most of the episode sucked. I guess I was just happy to have it back. But yeah, if this is any indication of how the 2nd season is going to turn out, they should have stopped at 1.

i just watched S2 E01 again, and I think that episode was a really bad move. I bet there is a ton of people who did not watch S1 and have been hearing about FoC for a year now and about how good it is and how funny the songs are, then they decide to watch Season 2, and they are probably severly dissapointed after watching that episode. It does not reflect at all the normal quality of the show. Also, the songs sucked. The two main songs were boring ballads - bad move. It needed something more upbeat, fast and funny.

Murray and Tracey Jordan are my favorite supporting characters right now.

As always though, I think the music numbers work so much better when they are actually taking place in real life such as making music videos, performing concerts, and making commercials.

Episode 2 was a big step up from E1. Still not as good as most of season 1, but getting back there. Thought some of the writing was kind of weak for most of the prostitute stuff - could hvae been funnier.

But the Sugalumps song was great

Chalres Widmore made an appearance in last night's episode!

I just can't get enough of Murray. His level of awkwardness is great. Also the part when he asked Jemaine why he wasn't in the gang and Jemaine said really quietly "I was never asked to be in the gang" really had me lolling, I replayed it a few times.

Ep 2 was good. The whole cup gag was just right to base the plot line on. Almost Seinfeld-ian in nature; make a big deal out of something so small. Sugalumps was a great track as well.

Ep 3 last night was ok, the West Side Story knock off kind of flopped IMO. The harassment from the Aussies was pretty good as was the I've Got Hurt Feelings song. Funniest moment had to be when Jemaine gets attacked by the gang in his apartment, and Mr. Liu slaps him from within the cupboard.
