I never understood when people say "I went to this great place but stayed in a shit hole". It's a vacation man, you don't need to justify yourself as a hard ass by sleeping with roaches. If that is what you enjoy though then I hope you had a great time.

not only that, I was not in any shithole - I was on Long Mountain Country Club - usain Bolt literally has a house there... so does Asafa Powell. Sure, crime and poverty is a huge problem in Jamaica - but not where any of my family lives.

got a buddy that owns the waste industry down tehre and we got along fine, everyone respected and loved us. Im headed back real soon.

and he lives on the Sandals resort which isnt bad at night anyways...but he did take us thru the slums and we met plenty of people...dunno how many times i got offered crack and weed.

Jamaica is the illest, B. i love the food. but the poverty there i think is going to cause an uprising. its too much difference from the poor and the wealthy there.

when you're taking the bus from the airport to the resort the poverty is unbelieveable, but its like you have blinders on because the scenery is so beautiful.

i always feel like an asshole when i go on vacation there. its like the resort is closed off and i always notice there's security at the front of the resorts with M16s.

Yeah, I didn't go to a resort this time, I stayed in Kingston... but I've stayed in at least 10 different resorts around the island in my lifetime. The gap between the rich and poor there is the reason crime is so high. Either way, the place is dope - I'm going back in December

He's tall, and has ridiculous coordination. Usually sprinters are shorter... taller sprinters tend to run more "clumsy" but he doesn't. He takes 4 less steps in the 100m than the average olympic sprinter - it's a huge advantage.
