that happened to me a couple months ago. over $800 later i was good to go.

oh and just a word of advice, instead of paying a plumber to purchase and install the water heater like my fiance did, just go to lowes or home depot and buy one and have them install it. its cheaper.

Ours did too. The top blew...a whole into the sheet rock and through to the floor above it. The hum of fans and dehumidfiers has been constant for 48 hours.
