well i have received two denial notices so far this week. something along the lines of "due to the economy situation we have closed this position".. blah blah

Aside from the bleak econmy, spending the past month and half job hunting, i'm really getting pissed off at this whole job market and crap. I might just go teach or something.

I have been job hunting in the charlotte/wilmington/greenville area. I wasn't really interested in Raleigh but i guess i have to. Any companies? any firms? PST.

so you just gonna whine, or you gonna present something about yourself that would make somebody want to pass your name on to somebody?

Would you like me to just bend over and take it? or actually complain about the situation and hope something good can happen?

I rather complain and keep looking.

thus this thread.

UI development, database, web, script monkey, networking, file systems/storage, asic programming, c, java, c++, c#, expect, perl, php, python, tcl. These such a breadth of options that you can cover with 'csc' that its completely useless without details.

how have you not found a job? I got laid off last friday and in less than a week I started a new job that I didn't start looking for until I got laid off. My phone is still blowing up from potential jobs that I am declining.

I think you are doing something wrong here.

sounds like he has a degree and a whole lot of nothing else to go on..which would pretty much explain why nobody wants to hire you
