Just picked this up from Peace Street Market and it has to be by far the most complex beer I have ever tasted. The stuff pours like motor oil, the absolute thickest brown ale I have ever seen with a real dark head on it. The smell is very complex, I get hints of coffee, vanilla beans, ginger, and a lot of wood. The taste is just as complex, very malty, has a woody roasted coffee taste almost like a porter and it leaves with a real spicy finish but then you can start to taste what seems to be dark fruits such as plums and raisins and probably somethings I cannot even think of. Absolutely fantastic beer, I highly recommend you pick some up if you are into craft beers 9/19/2008 1:43:39 PM |

too bad I dont really read chit chat and sorry for trying to have a more mature discussion about beer than would happen in chit chat. God forbid I waste your oh so precious time that you have dedicated to tdub that I would cause you to click on and then read my thread. 9/19/2008 2:12:00 PM |
