this is during my fall break so i will definitely attend. this year i might actually attempt to ride rides. but i get too scurred of that shit....mobile rides? freaky.

i do love: the village of yesteryear, the hushpuppy factory, all the veggies and the farm animals, the painting pig (i hope he is back), food, food, food, FOOD, food and more food. i go to eat and look at the exhibits. and then i'm forced to go on things like the zipper and want to vom/have a panic attack all at once.

^^ that is TERRIBLE. seriously...if you go you need to go for the food. go during a weekday and it is less crowded. eat eat eat fried everything smothered everything covered everything. but i recommend fasting for like 3 days beforehand. its no fun to go and then get full after like 3 meals.

Very excited about the state fair. My friends always make fun of me because I go 3 or 4 times. I heard the new food this year was deep fried mac and cheese and also chocolate covered bacon....interesting

Ok, we need to formalize this game.... we'll all make a list, say, 20 items long. when you go to the fair, you have to get a pic of every one you see. post the number of photos you took, and winner will have to post all the actual pictures (for verification). Also, I think two or fewer of your submissions can be carnies - those are too easy. They should be mostly fair patrons. We also need to come up with a tie breaker... like the person that spent the least amount of time at the fair and got the most pics wins.

I've started looking for a fair job already.

I love working at the fair, because you get free admission, and sometimes a parking pass. I go early, and stay late
I will literally go all but a day or two of the fair.
One year, miska and I worked together, and Nerdchick too. Even though our boss was crazy creepy, it was an AWESOME time.
