old thread was old but I just saw this and have some questions/comments

Did lily survive?

I saw a lot of people complaining about realism and talking about the "what would i do" effect and thats where the movie was a complete joke for a "survival film". These people were determined to die. Nobody would go towards that shit with Rob. I could understand if MAYBE just rob being stupid in love and going back but the other people would not have been like "i'm with you" the whole time and Arlena didn't even know rob/beth so she would've been dipset at the beginning. The fact that they did this killed the whole "in their shoes' effect of the movie because theres no way they would have gone that far or gone into that building. They didn't even need to.

The ending was bad and it would've been perfect to pan out after the tape ended and see who was watching it (lilly would have been cool) The fact that it had a case name and a us government watermark says that it has already been processed/analyzed and at that point (now that the movie was over) we could have panned out and learned a bitu c more about what happened after the explosion without ruining the "in their shoes" effect of the whole movie up until then (since they were dead).



The main thing that kept this movie from being great was the beginning. 30 minutes of bullshit that could have been accomplished in 10 without making my seat itchy.

If Rob was a close friend or family member I would go with him. So that part at least made sense to me.

I don't think so, I believe it was her helicopter that they saw get knocked out the sky right before theirs did.

The best part was when they were in the subway talking about the flaming homeless dude, that was hilarious.
