contact lens solution manufacturers only tell you to rinse each side of the contact before placing it in the case so that you'll burn through a lot more solution thus increasing the frequency of purchase?


sorta like servers put one more bread roll in the basket than there are people at the table so they don't order more, noone wants to take the last roll

i dont rinse

i specifically use the no rinse soultion

and i have found that as long as you change them when you are supposed to (daily, biweekly, quarterly) the solution part doesnt even matter

i should just suck it up and get the surgery, but i already know what i have right now; the fact that it could get worse scares me

the only problem with that is that the no rinse solutions only work as intended if you hit the contact lens directly for 8+ seconds with the stream - granted i use no rinse and don't do that as probably the entire world almost that uses it as well

Hmmm

I usually buy the no-rinse stuff but this past time I accidentally picked up just Saline solution. It took me a while to figure it out because my contacts were always "foggy" looking when I would take them outta the case and I'd have to rub them clean. I got it under control now

i not only wet both sides but i wet both sides thoroughly. i don't want crap in my eyes.

but i've never had a problem. once in a while if it feels uncomfortable after i put it in, i'll take it out and rub it clean
