My friend was bitten on the elbow by a horse and he did not even know the horse had done it until the horse tried again. So I love how quick they are when they go to bite you.

horse girls/people are weird. i know someone understands what i'm saying. people that ride horses or like horses aren't necessarily weird. but horse people = weird.

My mother's first husband was killed by a horse. He was walking a new horse, had looped the reigns around his wrist (mistake) so that he could light a cigarette, something spooked the horse, the horse drug him through brush and trees, killing him.

My older half-brother was 14 at the time that it happened and watched the entire thing. He grew up with horses and was raised to love them, but he will not get anywhere near them now.

Needless to say, my mother wouldn't let me learn how to ride even though I lived out in the country where everyone rode.

duh there are two kinds of people who like horses

people who like horses
and horse people.

you have never met a horse person. like the kind that wear horse tshirts and fake horse fur boots around just as their normal attire. and sleep with horse stuffed animals, etc. you will know when you meet one.

I've known a very few horse people who were nominally normal, but the idea that you can make a living out of an archaic means of transportation is weird in and of itself. But normal is boring, so who is judging here? Not I.
