i appreciate the effort, but believe it or not, you're not helping the cause.....

You see, here in America, it's seen as a virtue to be disliked by the rest of the world.

I know. I agree, completely.
Almost everyone who supports Obama also agrees with you.

The problem is, by reminding everyone that the rest of the world loves Obama, it just gives the people who don't like Obama more fuel for their fire. They think it's a bad thing our politicians become too popular in other countries. Because, you know.... they generally don't like other countries themselves, so why would they care what people from other countries like

It's more that, as non-citizens, I don't think that their opinion matters so I tune it out.

It's entirely possible our votes could affect folks in other countries more than they affect us personally.

Might not be a troll... It's another troll that's been thought out rather well if it is one. The bad english is proper and everything.

No, no I do not. Your media portrays everything that goes on here in a way that is different from reality, and their portrayal of candidates also weighs heavily on your decision-making. Your way of life is also different from mine and your values are different from mine. Not entirely different, but enough different that I don't have to give a damn what the rest of the world thinks about who I should elect.

I'm a smart roundeye. I don't watch mass-media at all and obtain any news I have interest in obtaining from a variety of outlets.

Also, I could totally turn this conversation on you since you think your opinion should be valued more than mine and that I should vote for Obama instead of Zombie Reagan/Zombie Andrew Jackson in 08.

hehe, nice.

btw, I work with about half a dozen S. Koreans closely on a daily basis. One thing I have learned over the past 4 years is that even the ones with very thick accents and who have a hard time speaking english aloud have impeccable written grammar. When I'm talking with them and we're having a hard time communicating, I just ask them to write it down, and when I read their email it's as if I'm reading a native english speaker.

Oil - Consumption: 2.149 Million bbl/day (2004)

No good for invading. But we can free up a lot from then we we set the oil quotas for all the nations in the world. We'll give them just enough to keep making those plasma TVs.

Oh, this guy's definitely not a Korean. I worked in Korea for a while, and I've edited dozens of papers written by Korean professors and students. The grammar mistakes that Leroy is making aren't the ones that typical Koreans would make, certainly not educated Koreans smart enough to study abroad. A typical Korean may barely speak any Korean, but he or she would have gone through more than enough rigorous ?? time to have at very least nailed English spelling, certainly better than Mr. Leroy here is typing.

Which university did you come out of anyway Mr. Leroy? Where in Korea are you from? Which high school did you go to? I'm curious.

As for his comments, its true that Obama has many fans all over the world, but as America is regularly criticized for harassing others about their democratic choices, so should other nations be respectful of our own process. Also, given some of the things Obama has been preaching about foreign policy these days, I don't know if the world is going to be all that much happier with him when he comes to office.

Not even by the biggest idiots. What's seen as a virtue is being your own man, and making your decision regardless of what the rest of the world thinks.

Not that it matters, because Leroy is an alias, and a really terrible one at that. "injeenir." Whoever it is, they're just being lazy about it.
