I set up a two hub network in my townhouse as follows:

Cable Modem <-- --> Linksys Wireless 4 Port Router ( with wired connections to my XBOX 360 and my roommate Mark) <-- --> D-Link Router (which I am using as a switch to allow me to connect the downstairs XBOX 360 , PS3, and 2nd roommate).

The D-Link accesses the internet through the Linksys router.

My roommates who have wired connections in the network have no internet problems. For some reason though; I have continuously had problems. At first I thought the issue was my roommate Mark using a bunch of the upload bandwidth via bit torrent. Even with BitTorrent turned off and my other roommate disconnected from WoW; my internet is still turtle slow.

I checked my network utilization and as expected a minimal % of my actual utilization max LAN speed. So I obviously am not drawing to much internet bandwidth. If my wireless router had to run through the D-Link to reach the gateway I might understand, however, this is not the case. Could some setting in the Linksys be bottlenecking my wireless connections.

My last experiment is make my PC grounded to the Linksys to see how the internet runs this way.

I found your problem, but I had to go back to 1995.

Carry on.
