The only gas around that I've seen is regular. There is gas at the gas station at Concord Mills. There is also gas at the BP at the corner of Prosperity and Ridge. Sry if this does not help for I live in the North of Charlotte.

Not in this instance. People have been on their normal routines since the first couple days of Ike passed. The gas stations without major company contracts (ie, BP, Shell, Exxon) are running out of gas because the pipeline feeding this part of the world is barely operational.

I'm fine with there being no gas... no gas means I can't drive to work... which is A okay with me. HWY 40 is a death trap.

I wish my company would allow us to work from home more often. I hate the fact that I spend so much money just on the commute to work alone. I just started carpooling (trying to reduce my carbon footprint ) but it's still expensive.

So is there any way to figure out which stations have gas without driving around to look at them all? If you're low on gas you don't really want to waste what you have trying to find a station that has the kind you need.

If you care about your car those are probably the only places should go anyway. They have the cleanest gas (hold themselves to a higher standard).

And who gives a damn about reducing their carbon footprint. Thats all a bunch of BS. I'm all for reducing oil dependency (b/c its a nat'l security risk) but to hell with this GW scare.

And I filled up on Glenwood yesterday for $4.25 at Shell. Damn premium fuel

I can't tell if you are being serious or not. I can't imagine a "panic" taking nearly 2 weeks to unfold. The four gas stations I pass on my drive in from Cary all have gasoline. The Shell I stopped at yesterday was selling the regular for 3.80, they were out of premium.
