Just a couple of years ago I would have probably been condescending and told you to grow up or something like that.

But I have become very understanding and empathetic. Almost everybody has some addiction or weakness, including me. And it wouldn't be fair or nice to rag on someone because they are addicted to Y while I am addicted to Z.
