Join the Baltimore-area NC State Alumni Club for a pregame tailgate prior to the NC State @ Maryland game on Saturday, October 25. Let's ruin their homecoming game by beating the Terps!

NCSU - Maryland - Pregame Party in College Park!
Date: Saturday, October 25
Time: Kickoff TBA; Pregame Party starts 3 hours before kickoff
Where: Samuel Riggs Alumni Center - Tailgate Terrace, University of Maryland campus
What: Pregame Party! $20 per ticket buys you NC-style pork barbecue (as close as we could find in Maryland!), all the sides, iced tea, and dessert.

Buy your pregame party tickets online through the Alumni Association at
http://www.alumni.ncsu.edu/events/event.php?id=1506 . Tickets are limited. Two years ago we had 150 participants - this year we have less capacity so buy your tickets soon! Provide your email address when purchasing your ticket online and we'll send more information including directions prior to the event. Tailgate ticket sales end Oct 17.

Game tickets are $43 each and can be purchased through the NC State Ticket Office at 919-865-1510. I've seen cheaper seats available through the Terrapin ticket office in the 300s sections but you won't be seated in the NC State section. You can choose to request to be seated with the Baltimore-area NC State Alumni Club. Game tickets are also limited and only on sale through Oct 17 or until they sell out.

Email the Baltimore-area NC State Alumni Club if you have questions at mdncsualumni@gmail.com .

As a side note, UMD has changed their parking situation this year, so there are no longer cash lots for people who do not have a permit (i.e. visitors). Unless you park off campus and walk in (and there really aren't any lots to do so), you will have to park in a parking garage which is not condusive to grilling out or tailgating at all. Maryland campus police are also breaking up large tailgates now, because they have had problems with their fans causing problems in the past (surprise surprise).

If you are planning on coming up for the game, this is the best option to hang out with other wolfpackers and eat some food before the game. Hope to see some of you there.

I never liked Byrd Stadium. The place just kind of lacks energy.

Does this $20 ticket come with a parking spot also? Or are you still limited to parking in the garage and then walking to this tailgate?

hello minion?

Parking is not included. I dont think there is any available parking directly around the tailgate spot. I plan on just parking in a garage and just walking over.

He played great against FSU.
