wearing them to work, i needed something that would be non slip and give me good ankle support, plus i do hike(though not nearly as often as i would like to) and these meet all my current shoe needs

non slip and black for work

waterproof for work(not required, but its nice to not have soaked feet if i drop a drink, or get sprayed by the cooks when they wash the floor at the end of the night

and a hiking boot for when i do go hiking

Fuck UPS, I'm never overnighting anything again

i was promised mulitple times today that my package would be here before 5 today i got it confirmed yesterday and then multiple times today

the last time when i called after five that they were still within their end of the bargain if it was delivered before 7pm

now i run into the same problem tomorrow because the guy won't get here until after 5 and i have class to go to so i can't be here tomorrow and my roommate works tomorrow night so he can't either

so i might get my package friday when i paid extra to get it today

i was wanting them tonight before work, and i wouldn't even be upset at them if i wasn't promised multiple times that it would be here by 5 today, and the best i can get out of them now is basically "you're shit out of luck, we're UPS we run shit so fuck off"

to have 3 separate people who work for UPS tell you the same thing, and then have it finally cleared up after the fact, plus the fact that no one was willing to help me at all, hell i even got hung up on when i asked to be transferred to a supervisor(and no i wasn't being rude, or mean, or disorderly, i've handled all this very calmly and politely to them) is fucking bullshit
