a lot of places wont do it because if they break it...they cant replace it.... so i doubt walmart would do it

it's not supposed to have screws

there should be a groove in the back where you pop the back cover off

if you are in raleigh maybe try one of the specialty watch places that specifically repair watches. or a jeweler probably. maybe call before you go and ask though...like describe what you have.

There's a guy who works on watches in the Sears at Cary Towne Center. I'd call and make sure he's still there, his little office was in one of the back corners of the store.

if it's a cheap watch, take it to walmart. If it's an expensive one, take it to jeweler.

I have a nice Wenger watch. I always took it to Treasure Isle in Crabtree mall. They were the cheapest and also one of the only "Wenger certified" places to work on that type of watch (warranty crap). I always was pleased with their service.

^just because he got it from the US national team doesn't mean it's a nice watch. She needs to post the brand/model of the watch in able for me to determine. Since it's a quartz, I believe Walmart or Sears would do.

"walmart?"

just an fyi, walmart typically refuses to work on watches at all..they might give you the battery, but they won't replace it for you..too much liability for their typically idiotic employees

[Edited on October 1, 2008 at 7:20 PM. Reason : or they aren't suppose to in all locations i've tried--some ppl will anyways tho]
