The Jaycees usually do a good haunted house; last year its theme was a deranged mental hospital...with patients running everywhere and popping up right behind you, etc, and the "nursing staff" was also sorta crazy...at the end we were chased out by a creepy dude with a chainsaw...it was worth it! I forget the street; it's near the Peace/Person St intersection.

The HOllywood Horror Show in (or just outside) or Graham is pretty good.

I think it has always been the "Hollywood" horror show... but I could be wrong.

The two guys that started it did makeup in horror films.

btw, I have never been, but Ken's Produce on Highway 50 in Garner has a corn maze and the Lighting of the Pumpkins where they have about 200 jack-o-lanterns set up on Holloween. I hear the corn maze is pretty cool. It's not haunted though. It's become a pretty popular tradition in Garner.

I'm sure that the admission will be a lot more expensive this year thanks to ethanol.

I haven't heard anything about it this year, but I'm sure it's there again. From what I hear, it takes about an hour to get through.

I went to Ken's corn maze last night and had a really good time. The maze is huge; it took us an hour to get through it.

my old boss said when he was a teenager he went to this long abandoned house with some friends out in the middle of nowhere...it was a house where the husband shotgun killed his family. He said it was as if the family still lived there, all the furniture and everything was there, but d there was dry blood all over the place. He took at sign that said "God Bless This House" that had dried blood smeared on it. His wife just recently made him get rid of the sign.

Went to Woods of Terror a few years ago, it was well worth the price. You do have to watch a short 5 minute video on becoming a Christian as the owners of the land are apparently die hard religious, I would def. recommend it though

Woods of Terror is a must. I went a couple of weeks ago and it was great. They have a new pirate attraction this year called Blackbeards Revenge. It was really good.

THE BEST in North Carolina. It takes forever to get through. First the haunted house, then the hayride, then the corn maze, then the final Haunted Castle. The whole time people are scaring the shit out of you. I had a guy dressed like Michael Myers hold a (dull) knife up to my neck. It was AWESOME.

There are side attractions too like the girls who toss fire hullahoops, and sword swallowers.

This year i'm trying out the Snow Camp one, and probably the Clayton Fear farm too if i get a chance.
