Right now Miami is in the classic college football situation where a freshman qb is better than the guy who "inherited" the job and because the coach just recruited the sophomore to come play he can't simply sit him just because he has a freshman whose better. Marve was mr football and will surely be good some day but he doesn't have half the potential of Harris. So it takes a complete fuckup for the older guy to lose his job when the team could have been better all along with the younger guy who is obviously more talented.

This same thing happened to Vince Young(mock?) and a little bit with Pryor(Boeckman) and Wilson(evans) and all over college football every year. I haven't watched vt play but I hear tyrod Taylor(glutton?) got the same raw deal for the longest.

Ehhh Glennon? The guy who's brother is going to be a badass QB for us in a few years?

I just don't know what it takes. Loss after loss interception after interception this guy is still #1 even while the other guy has success during his limited action.

we're gonna have something next year...glennon comes in with all of this hype, but wilson is going to be good as well...he's just a freshman,
doesn't turn the ball over and made some nice throws today (the two to spencer in the 4th were beautiful)

Any school should do what is in their best interest and play the best player. Alumni, fans, and everyone else want results. If the coach wants to keep his job, he knows what to do.

Players should understand that playing for a premiere college will come with competition. If they don't want the competition and want the playing time, go somewhere else. Simple as that. Marve should've went to UCF or something.

Well the problem is the hindsight is 20/20. Marve could've gone anywhere and chose Miami because it was his quickest bet to see the field. I'm not even sure harris started at northwestern his junior year and then lead them to the national championship last year. What are the odds Miami gets another Mr. football at the same position the very next year? Its just a messed up situation and I'm sure the coaches do what they do because they don't want to scare future recruits into not coming in fear of being replaced by a younger player and buried into the depth chart or being replaced for barely or without even screwing up.

Are you racist? In each case you brought up you have a black guy over a white guy?

And just so you know Wilson has been the starter over Evans since day 1.

didn't used to be common place at FSU for the QBs to not play til their junior or senior year despite their talent because that was the way FSU groomed their QBs?
