just made bacon grilled cheese burgers with the roommates, that would be bacon burgers, but instead of buns, grilled cheese sandwiches. It was incredibly delicious, and i haven't had a heart attack...yet.
step one: get sandwiches ready, and fry up some bacon
step two: grill burgers, about .6 pounds each, and make square to better fit bread, cook sandwiches
step three: put it all together
step four: enjoy

congratulations, you put bacon on a patty melt. i'm not saying it probably wasn't delicious, just saying it's not really a new concept. 10/5/2008 5:15:24 PM |

^^ To me a patty melt has to be grilled all together. but I guess it's a matter of perspective. 10/5/2008 5:25:32 PM |

^yeah, maybe. whatever, it sounds edible. i'd never make it though.
if i'm going to the trouble of making burgers, i'm gonna put some lettuce and tomato on that joker.
or chili, mustard, and onions 10/5/2008 5:27:41 PM |

I would've used one grilled cheese sandwich per burger, pulled it apart, and stuck the burger in the middle. That has too much bread and cheese. I like the concept though 10/5/2008 5:48:02 PM |

Damn that looks amazing. My dad gave me bad cholesterol genes though. My doctor said my cholesterol is already way too high for my age so I have to start eating healthy .
Maybe after a month of eating nothing but spinach and oatmeal I can have one of those. 10/5/2008 7:54:53 PM |

For lunch I had a BBQ bacon cheeseburger panini. It was pretty good - the concept is sound but I could execute it better.
This is inspiring me to assemble amazing burgers at home soon.
How about Bison Guinnes burgers with peppered bacon, grilled onions and creamy horseradish on grilled garlic ciabatta? 10/5/2008 8:08:24 PM |
