I counted 26 in my closet yesterday, but I feel like I have some colors not covered.

10/6/2008 11:07:32 AM
<- has 4 i hate polos
I only only have 3, but I would eventually like to have about 7 or 8.26 is waaaaay too much.Of course, if I was a millionaire, I would buy almost all the colors out there. (except for pink and those vomit-like colors)
10/6/2008 11:08:27 AM
i probably have at least 30
10/6/2008 11:09:16 AM
some of them are ratty and old and not acceptable for use at work, or even playing golf (lol). However they're comfortable and are great to wear when you don't give a fuck.[Edited on October 6, 2008 at 11:09 AM. Reason : k ]
10/6/2008 11:09:36 AM
are we talking monochrome Ralph Lauren polos here?
10/6/2008 11:10:59 AM
that many.
10/6/2008 11:12:58 AM
Actual Polos or just collared short sleeve shirts?
10/6/2008 11:13:17 AM
I work for Polo Ralph Lauren. I have 4 Polo shirts.
10/6/2008 11:13:39 AM
I actually call them golf shirts but a lot of people refer to all collared shirts of that style as polos so I just roll with it.Not just monochrome, any style. I've got A&F, AE, Gap, Old Navy, Lacoste, RL, Izod, etc.
10/6/2008 11:13:43 AM
i wear these to work pretty much every day. i have roughly 20
10/6/2008 11:14:55 AM
one time my friend decided to wear a powder blue polo over a pink polo to the bar with both collars poppedhe'll never hear the end of it
10/6/2008 11:15:26 AM
I'm rocking a white one today, from Brooks Bro's
10/6/2008 11:15:41 AM
Oh, well I'd say I have about 10.
10/6/2008 11:15:42 AM
ive got at least 30. most are in good shape, but i dont wear them to work unless it's a super casual day (usually wear a dress shirt & tie)not all are Polo brand.
10/6/2008 11:15:48 AM
I only have five or six, but since they are acceptable to wear to work, I would like to have many, many more. They're much more comfortable than long-sleeved dress shirts.
10/6/2008 11:16:57 AM
they're my "i'm going to play in the field" shirt....they're much more difficult to rip than jos. banks stuff
10/6/2008 11:17:35 AM
I probably have 20 of them.
10/6/2008 11:18:59 AM
I probably have about 20 that I actually wear. I wear them to work all the time as well.
10/6/2008 11:19:16 AM
In the winter I wear more button down shirts, but when its warm out and work allows for it you can't beat a nice lightweight polo.
10/6/2008 11:22:06 AM
i probably have 20 or so. maybe 10 at the most that actually fit comfortably these days
10/6/2008 11:23:19 AM
Working with the Jimmy V has given me way too many Nike Golf shirts. I just give them to my dad and friends, but I do have about 5 or 6 normal polo shirts that I wear.
10/6/2008 11:26:32 AM
I've got a ton as well, never actually counted them. Pretty much all of mine are RL, except for some cheapos I bought for my last job.
10/6/2008 11:28:50 AM
^^hook a brother up Erica. BTW I saw you at halftime outside the stadium Saturday. Yelled your name but you didn't hear me[Edited on October 6, 2008 at 11:29 AM. Reason : k]
10/6/2008 11:29:34 AM
I have about 9 RL brand Polos that I wear on a regular basis.Prolly about 25 in all including other brands.
10/6/2008 11:31:02 AM
Oh snap!! I heard my name a couple of times (I'm popular didn't you know), but I couldn't figure out who yelled it!!! If you're an XL you can have access to my next round of shirts, as long as you don't care that the V logo is on them!
10/6/2008 11:32:11 AM
Depending on the brand I'm an XL or L.
10/6/2008 11:41:28 AM
i really only where polos. what else would someone wear in the summer time if you didn't want to wear long sleeves, especially when working is considered. I have roughly 15, though i only really wear about half of them.
10/6/2008 11:41:50 AM
I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY NOT TO WEAR MORE THAN 30 AT A TIME, BUT I KNOW THAT'S HARD FOR FRAT BOYS. MAYBE LIMIT YOURSELF TO WEARING LIKE 40 AT A TIME FOR NOW AND TRY TO WORK IT DOWN OVER TIME.
10/6/2008 11:42:44 AM
perhaps tonight I should try to put on as many as I can all at once, and then post pictures for TWW's judgement? (collars popped of course)
10/6/2008 11:44:56 AM
more than you typically wear
10/6/2008 11:45:17 AM
Well I will hook a brotha up.I get L and XL
10/6/2008 11:45:36 AM
i pretty much only wear polo-style shirts.
10/6/2008 11:46:21 AM
I came to that realization a few months ago. Since then I've been trying to stock up on T-shirts with cool/retro shit written on them
10/6/2008 11:48:01 AM
~30wore a two different pinks brooks brothers one yesterday.
10/6/2008 11:53:49 AM
i've got 20-25 in various styles/brandsthey're just so goddamn versatileand
10/6/2008 11:59:00 AM
occasionally I'll rock one over a long sleeve shirt if its cold out.
10/6/2008 11:59:49 AM
mehi much prefer just a long sleeve with the sleeves rolled partway up
10/6/2008 12:01:43 PM
I wear them every day for work, and I probably have close to 40. Several of them have my company and other vendor logos on them, and I also have a dozen or so that just need to be retired.[Edited on October 6, 2008 at 12:03 PM. Reason : ^long sleeve polos don't fit over my forearms.]
10/6/2008 12:02:31 PM
ew, not long sleeve polosi am not a fan of long sleeve polosi am referring to button downs
10/6/2008 12:06:23 PM
I only have like 5 that I actually wear.Bright green, pink, navy blue, white and teal.I like the button up casual with the rolled up sleeves.I also wear dress shirts untucked with my khaki shorts to class all the time. Mainly because I don't give a fuck and as soon as work ends I like to act like I don't have to work anymore!
10/6/2008 12:44:11 PM
i have 4, but 2 of them have my work's logo on them and i got them for free.
10/6/2008 12:48:40 PM
probably about 20 short sleeve polos (mostly RL, couple lacoste and brooks brothers)7 or 8 long sleeve polos.I only wear polos for the most part unless I haven't done laundry or unless it's sunday, I usually wear my panthers jersey if I go out to a bar.[Edited on October 6, 2008 at 12:50 PM. Reason : .]
10/6/2008 12:49:59 PM
i've never really been impressed by brooks brothers polos. i've been in there for other stuff but their polos have never impressed me at all. i have a friend who wears them all the time and if you didn't know they were bb from the logo you would just not be impressed. typically i rock J. Crew or RL.
10/6/2008 3:46:19 PM
lol i have one in just about every color. polo tees as well. never to many
10/6/2008 3:47:33 PM
J. Crew ones fit me pretty well, though over time they shrink a little bit and get too short (even when washed on gentle). In my experience the Gap ones really come into their own after you've broken them in over 2 yrs or so
10/6/2008 3:49:34 PM
I have about 20 white polo shirts with about 20 khaki dress pants for work. Now that I don't go to work, they are useless to me.
10/6/2008 3:54:28 PM
man I could use some more khaki pants for work, what size you wear
10/6/2008 3:55:14 PM
i own no polo shirts. my daily wardrobe comes from metal shows. probably about 40+ band shirts in my closet as well as around 10 nice long-sleeve button-down shirts for when I want to look nice for the evening. Polo might make one or more of those, I dunno.
