^^ Johnny Depp had an easy role. Just go over the top, toss some JD phlair in there, and you're done. Rush had to play the quintessential bad guy pirate without being cliche.

Part of the reason II sucked was the fact that Depp didn't have a foil against which to play.

there were some creepy dudes out on hollywood blvd dressed up as depp...it was a little freaky.
