I've got an AMD 3500+ with 2GB of RAM and around 500GB in storage. I do not want to go down the road of an HTPC so any ideas?

There is no monitor hooked up to it and it's running the most recent Fedora distro.
It's more or less a tinker box - what would you do with it?

Only thing I could think of other than gifting it would be to use it as a media server.

Any software you can recommend?

I have tried to tinker with a few thinks like Jizora but it was just too nasty.

linux mce, mythdora, mythbunutu, use the freenx software to connect it via gui.
