Being proud of an Xbox achievement would make me ashamed of myself.

I mean, this would only be pride between hobbyists of achievements, a.k.a. gamers, just like people who play golf are proud of crazy shots, or a hole-in-one. No one else is involved but them. Its not like you are proud for being able to do brain surgery, which could benefit, or have mass appeal, to a broad scope of interested parties.
