But to be honest, how fucking hard is it to get a contractor to come out and install an irrigation system? How hard is it to get a lawn company to come out and drop some starter fertilizer and seed? His wife may be pregnant, but she's not retarded and none of this is rocket science. I'd respect her more if she stepped up and took care of things while her husband is in Kuwait. I'd pretty much expect my wife to do what needs to be done if I were in that situation.

That guy's comments are pretty much absurd though. He'll face the wrath of the public for this one.

If you click to read the *entire* article, he did hire a contractor to install an irrigation system and seed the yard. The contractor abandoned the job without completing it.

Then she has the additional task of getting their money back from the contractor who abandoned the job. That has no effect on my original statement. Sometimes we just have to suck it up and do what needs to be done. As a woman, I hope you are not implying that she is incapable of handling this and that it's ok for her just to wait for her man to come home and straighten everything out.
