Gas in Bassett Forks, Virginia for $2.91. $2.95 across the road. Of course, this only applies if you're on US220 N of Martinsville. It was nice to fill up for less than normal. Made my trip to Smith Mountain Lake more affordable. 10/11/2008 5:15:58 PM |

I filled up north of Fredericksburg, VA yesterday for $3.14 a gallon yesterday. It's disturbing to see gas prices around NC when you work in VA and MD a lot. 10/11/2008 5:42:18 PM |

NC has the highest gas prices in the lower 48 states right now...and Raleigh/Durham is this highest priced metro area in the con US too. I filled up yesterday at $3.59, but I'm not complaining. It could be worse. It has been worse.

yeah it's weird, here in Omaha we were one of the top 5 highest last winter...now Nebraska is one of the cheapest.

why is gas in alaska so expensive? I'm surprised Palin doesn't do anything about it. 10/11/2008 6:35:42 PM |
