Has anyone else had issues with sound in this game. I got a new Dell Inspiron and beyond the main menu and the opening movie; the sound does not seem to work for this game.

I have installed the newest DirectX verison, the 1.1 Bioshock update, and updated my sound drivers. None seemed to solve the problem.

Are you on Vista? If so, right click on the exe -> properties -> compatability and check it for XP SP2

i had crashing problems when changing audio settings.

reinstalled vista - went to x64

fixed.


awesome game.
