What past gaming consoles have you owned? I've had the Atari 2600, NES, SNES, PS (actually my brother's but I played it often before he moved out), and PS2. I'm considering getting myself a PS3 for my upcoming birthday this November.

I always wanted to try the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, but never knew anyone that owned them besides a suitemate that I had my freshman year who had a Dreamcast. What did you think of them? I know the Dreamcast is highly regarded and has a cult following. My cousin had a Sega Genesis and I played that with him a good many times. He even had that package that you could get through your cable where you could play a ton of games each month. A good friend and former roommate of mine had a Nintendo 64. Mario Kart 64 was pretty fun to play with a group of people. Some other good games I remember playing on there were Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Star Fox 64.

Also Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance (Micro style), and DS Lite.

[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 3:34 PM. Reason : Dreamcast is great, especially if you like fighting games]

Man I had tons of games for that 2600 too. It's funny, I don't remember the graphics being that bad back then either.

Oh yeah I forgot that I had a Sega Gamegear. That was a fun thing to have as a kid especially when I'd go on long road trips for ice hockey.

I used to have a Sega Nomad too. I found one in a store near the end of their lifespan. A friend of mine borrowed it and I never saw it again.

I'm proud to own a working NES, complete with NES Advantage controller and the must-have power pad.

Anyone want to try me at World Class Track Meet? Didn't think so.

I currently own:
NES, SNES, Gamecube, oXBox, Wii, GB Brick, GB Color, GBA (original), DS phat, DS lite, Virtual Boy

I have owned:
PS1 (died), PS2 (sold, but will be replaced), n64 (sold), Dreamcast (sold, but may be replaced)

I plan to sell the NES, most of the old Game Boy stuff, and maybe the gamecube in the near future and use the money to go toward a 360.

Lynx was awesome but it ate batteries so quickly. I think it took like 6 triple A batteries or something like that and you could only play for like 3-4 hours on that. If you had a wall socket adapter it was cool though.

^^^ Top-loader was later I believe.

I had/have Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, the 32X attachment for Genesis, N64, PS2 and Xbox 360. I also had a Game Boy and Game Gear. My brother had a Gamecube and Xbox, and I believe he had a Game Boy Color. He has a PSP now.

My Sega Game Gear was a special blue sports edition that came with it's own bag and copy of MLB World Series Baseball. I got an external rechargeable battery that hung from the bottom of it. I could play hours on end with that thing.

Ok I was blindly linking that picture of the blue game gear from work earlier. The page was blocked by my work even though I could see a blue game gear during my GIS. Here's a picture that works.
