well i did the math:

a 24" screen is 73.48% the area of a 28" screen (both 16:9)

so

$399 x .7348 = $293

Too bad technology goes up in price exponentially

rofl are you serious with ^^, they are both the same resolution, which are 16:10, not 16:9, and due to the pixel pitch of both LCDs, I would have much rather gotten the 24".

^ratio is width:height

so if your resolution is 1024x768, you'd have a 1024:768, or 4:3 aspect ratio.

1280x800=16:10
1280x768=16:9, which I've only seen on laptop resolutions a few years back.

the differences are subtle, but people who own either screens can tell the differences.
