Looking for a Florist that can assemble something cooler than I can by buying it from Sams or a grocery store. The problem is the prices are way high - even the one next to Zaxbys. What's the best bang for your buck flower shop around here that you guys have used? For pick up if it matters

i went to that one on hillsborough st. for valentine's last year. it's down near UT/Zaxby's on the south side of the street. the building looks like an old two-story house they converted.

the people were really nice. they put it together while i waited and i was pleased. small fresh cut thing of all colors in a small vase for $20 or $25, can't remember for sure.

sorry, but i don't remember the name.

^Johnson-Paschal Floral Co.

You might want to try Fallon's on St. Mary's by Broughton High school. There's also Kelly Odom Flowers on Glenwood (near Hboro St) but that's also on the expensive side.

Try The Dutch Iris in Dunn. It is a bit of a drive, but the prices are much cheaper than most here in Raleigh and they do kick ass arrangements.

This is the one I always use. Their flowers are pretty nice and they have some crazy cheap pre-made stuff.

goto kelly odom flowers. right there at glenwood and hillsborough.

they are top notch. not sure about the $$ factor (we bartered)... but they had some darn good arrangements (according to the women).

I've been given really pretty irises from there before. A whole dozen for like $25 or something.

Fallon's Flowers.
http://www.fallonsflowers.com/

700 St Mary's Street
Raleigh, NC 27605
(800) 632-5566

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=fallons+flowers+raleigh+nc&aq=1&oq=fallons+flowers+

On friday I believe they do half off floor items. (you can pick and make your own boquet of flowers) All of their other arrangements are in a fridge and they can do custom arrangements as well. They have their own vases too in case you don't have one. Really nice place, really nice people, and the flowers have last at least a week and up to two weeks when I've gotten them. They have a great selection of various flowers imo.

There is another one on Hillsborough, I can't remember where exactly it is but I think it is directly across the street from Patterson Hall.

I agree w/the Fallon's flowers. My work gave me 2 dozen roses sent to my house when I was sick!
