i tried to tell by eyes, but was way off

i was thinking:
japanese, more squinty
korean, more slant like / direction (for right eye)
chinese, more open

(in all honesty, no trying to be ethnicist/racist)

i have known more korean-ish people than the other two so i tried to see if i saw similarity in their eyes

10/18 and i'm asian. People smiling makes it harder to tell as it squint some people eyes more then others. If they had neutral faces then you could use the eyes as a better indicator. Pretty much only got the koreans wrong which makes sense to me since i don't really know any koreans.

I have a Thai friend and she is always mistaken for a Vietnamese. And they look NOTHING alike.

Southeast Asians can get muddy too. But not as difficult as distinguishing between the Northern asians.

Filiphinos and Cambodians look alike to me.
