Any recommendations for attorney's in the area? I got a nuisance party citation with a couple of buddies and I don't need a misdemeanor charge on my record. It'd also be great if they were reasonable.

Thanks

step 1) don't get the fucking police called on you in the first place and you won't have this problem... do you ever stop to think what your neighbors think of you? maybe there's a reason they called the cops, and you completely deserve the citation. suck it up and take it like a man, you fucked up.

i am mainly pissed because you said "attorney's"

that's what i'm saying - why should he receive any help for a charge he most likely deserved in the first place

No, this was a wet behind the ears cop, couldn't have been any older than 22 or 23. Cops weren't called btw, RPD was trolling while me and a couple buddies were out on the porch. Music wasn't even audible from the street.

My bad on the possessive.

honestly, you really dont even need a lawyer. i got charged with the same thing last december and all i had to do was 20 hrs of community service and it was dropped. and i had no lawyer.

No it wasnt for weed. I had some people over at my place getting drunk and got a ticket for hosting a "nuisance party". I just lucked out and went to do my community service at the green house of Raleigh and they are all old ass stoners. Funny as shit. They had said something bout growing weed at the place in the woods, but I dont if it was true or not.

I Agree with the discount Bigman. I asked if I could get a group rate for the 4 of us, he kind of chuckled.

Been there done that. They don't provide representation in criminal matters. Their advice: Get an attorney.

If crouch does not call you back (he might not) just take the ticket down to his office with $250. Sign a waiver of appearance while you are there.

You will get a letter some months later saying the charges were dismissed.

You will save $250 worth of time by not having to be in court all day on multiple occasions and doing volunteer service.
