I think this will be the first 'real' survival horror of this generation. I can't wait for it... this new trailer has me more pumped that I originally was. But Microsoft Studios has yet to publish any games that I like (including Halo, on the multiplayer is relatively good). Its just something about the games that come from there that generally lack the oomph to make them to appeal to me. I use to fell the exact same way about EA, but EA has stepped its game up on publishing in past two years. Anyway, I hope this one works out for the best!

i feel the same way about Japanese studio titles in general (few exceptions). They all have that same look and feel even if the games are completely different...just hard to explain.

^^ What more would you expect to see from a trailer of a game that pops up about year and a half with a trailer? Sure its not a great trailer, but this trailer at least suggest that it has the potential to be very spooky and turn out to be a real survival horror (which is what I have been waiting for, Dead Space was a let down in this respect, and Homecoming was just enough to get me by). This game may drop when the Max Payne movie drops...

Looks cool, but I'm not much of a survival horror fan.

About the closest I like is Dead Rising, which is more of a survival horror action button masher.

So they released this on PC at the beginning of the year? Just picked it up for $29 on Steam which includes both DLC that were extra on the 360 version.

beat the game. great game but be prepared for a total let down on the promise of episodic dlc to actually complete the storyline

I played through it a year ago. Good storytelling and atmosphere. The part with the rock concert was really cool.
