Frank occasionally says something funny.... FrankTV is hard to laugh at, but the comedian himself isn't as bad as he could be.

Mencia rarely, if ever, says anything but stupid and unfunny shit. His show is retarded and his stand up is even worse.

neither are real funny people. the difference is frank is fairly talented and sometimes funny while carlos mencia is the spawn of satan. i would rather watch 24 hours straight of reruns of frank tv. i've actually watched part of an episode of mind of mencia and found myself getting so pissed at the people in the audience for laughing that i had to turn off the tv before i had a stroke.

They both use other people as a basis for their material. Frank is annoying as hell and would never watch it. Carlos steals all his material and is still awful as all hell and I would never watch it.

I turned to FrankTV right before I went to bed just because I'd never seen it before. I watched one skit with a premise of Ice T selling Blueberry Lemonade or something like that. I couldn't even make it until the commercial break and I hate that this thread reminded me of it.

I like Frank as a comedian and as a funny NFL correspondent.


His show isn't any good though because it's basically a sketch comedy show without any other cast. It's boring and stupid, and some of his impersonations just aren't any good (Al Pacino is particularly terrible).



Mencia sucks and has always sucked.

Mencia is awful i almost cried when i heard an add for chocolate news say "we haven't laughed this hard since the chappelle show".

Comedy central is such a shame these days, not even colbert is funny anymore.
