yes. it goes to sleep at like 5:30 and wakes up when his owner goes to work at like 7:30 and starts barking then. if I'm not in deep sleep by then, I'm working on 2hours of sleep. I know how you feel.

I've heard though of people calling the cops for noise ordinances, because I don't think owners are allowed to have their dogs barking and waking up other people. It's not hard to train a dog not to bark (at least according to Ceasar Milan).

Call the cops, if you haven't already talked to/wrote letter to neighbor.

i know how it is. the chick that lives across the street from me has 2 dogs which she lets roam around 99% of the time, and sometimes those fuckers are right outside my window at 4-5AM barking non-stop, but usually they're alright. but a couple weeks ago, a 3rd dog shows up that REALLY barks all the fucking time, and straight through the night. if it continues much longer, im just gonna talk to her about it. she said she was just watching it for a friend, but "considering adopting it". that shit wont fly, because the dog has snapped at my dog (which i only take out on a leash), as well as myself (turned my back on it while it was barking in my face and it nipped by asscheek).

im just not a fan of people who leave their dogs outside almost all the time so they dont have to deal with them, mostly when it comes to barking.

im a light sleeper so i know your pain. but IMO, you should really try to talk to your neighbor if he's such a cool guy, im sure he'll understand.
