It appears that M$ doesn't know when time change is. My computer "fell back" this morning although it is not supposed to happen for another week. SO thinking it was just my computer, I sycronized time with time.windows.com and it was wrong too.

I'm pretty sure that NTP servers send UTC. Offsets for time zone and daylight savings are applied by the local computer.

I'd check your computer again.

methinks you need to double-check your Windows Updates. MS issued a patch for this like a year ago.

heh my pc as well as everyone else's that's up to date didn't change - maybe place blame where it should be placed....

this is either an ID 10 T Error or a problem between the keyboard and the chair

pool.ntp.org is probably the best ntp service to use. the time it takes for responses to come back is negligible anyway, so no need to pick the closest server and no need to worry about the ntp server going offline...

^^yep, that's my NTP server too.

It's fairly trivial to setup your own ntp server, too.
