thats pretty expensive, though with gas prices what they are, i guess not too suprising.

I had a subaru forrester shipped from west texas to here like 5 years ago, it ran me 650 bucks.

mcallen is less than 300 miles from my house. that's close in texas LOL

oh and mcallen has just about the cheapest gas in the country

i was quoted $900 to ship a m3 enclosed from CA to NC, so there are better deals out there.

^apples and oranges man. CA to NC = i40. Carriers charge based on distance from their main routes, more than actual distance.

Cost to ship my car to CA was ~1200. Cost to ship to WA was 2350. This was last winter.

well if all goes as planned... the shipping company i found said to give them like 7-10 window to pick the car up, and it'll be around $600 and change.

i forgot the name off hand.

but if you've got a decent window, it'll be cheaper. and if you're in a decent sized city too
