It's so weird how blacks, who always vote for democrats, are still supporting THIS democrat, even though he's the first BLACK one!Seriously... WTF?
10/27/2008 7:35:48 PM
^blacks voted for democrats by a margin of 92 to 3 percent? (serious question) [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:38 PM. Reason : engrish]
10/27/2008 7:37:15 PM
Pretty muchhttp://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/US/H/00/epolls.0.html
10/27/2008 7:39:24 PM
ok, that's one source, so I'll start believing it, slightly.any others. I wouldn't call CNN an unbiased source [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:41 PM. Reason : and maybe for a less intense election? I've got the feeling that has to effect it some]
10/27/2008 7:40:19 PM
Yeah, they probably fudged their exit polling dataGood call
10/27/2008 7:40:47 PM
or take exit polls in "strategic" locations [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:42 PM. Reason : any media poll can be skewed]
10/27/2008 7:41:31 PM
MSNBC was in on it too!http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5297138/
10/27/2008 7:42:22 PM
I'm just asking for sources and stating that any poll can be skewed, and seeing has how most of the major media companies are biased, it wouldn't surprise me that media outlets with the same political stance, would have data that matches. No need to be a dickhead about it.
10/27/2008 7:44:43 PM
i don't know if this has anything about parties but it has stuff about registration and who votes and blah blah. i don't know if it has anything about race/party. but it has other statistics.http://www.census.gov/population/www/socdemo/voting.html
10/27/2008 7:45:30 PM
^^how are you gonna ask for sources and then deny what the sources say [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:47 PM. Reason : j]
10/27/2008 7:45:43 PM
someone find it on fox news. that will make believers out of everyone. we report, you decide.
10/27/2008 7:46:09 PM
^^I'm asking for multiple sources, I never denied anything. Who doesn't use multiple sources fucking dipshit
10/27/2008 7:47:25 PM
ok.[Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:49 PM. Reason : ]
10/27/2008 7:48:41 PM
The exit polling isn't conducted by the networks themselves. It's handed over to a third party media research organization. http://www.exit-poll.net/
10/27/2008 7:48:44 PM
^^yeh, because the rolly eyes weren't dickish^ok, i didn't realize that. thank you.

BLACKS VOTE DEMOCRATNEWS AT 11
10/27/2008 7:51:22 PM
but exit polls have been notoriously flawed
10/27/2008 7:52:27 PM
Yep, but unless you have something less flawed...
10/27/2008 7:53:25 PM
^^true, they haven't always been all that great, but for such a large difference (92 to 3%), I'd have to say that an error couldn't really change the overall fact [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:54 PM. Reason : .]
10/27/2008 7:53:55 PM
^^ well yea i mean what else do we have. ^ yes.
10/27/2008 7:54:48 PM
i knew black people generally voted democrat, but i didn't realize there was that kind of margin.
10/27/2008 7:55:04 PM
they might have the buttons wired up backwards!
10/27/2008 7:55:30 PM
^^which is what I was trying to determine. I didn't think it was that big of a difference. I'm still skeptical, but I guess it is what it is [Edited on October 27, 2008 at 7:55 PM. Reason : .]

10/27/2008 8:43:00 PM
aha markoicee what you did there.
10/27/2008 8:47:23 PM
If you don't like exit polling, then would you be satisfied by using the percentage of blacks registered as Democrats vs. other parties as a proxy? If so, 84% of African-Americans in North Carolina who are registered to vote are registered as Democrats. Nearly 12% are registered as unaffiliated, so that leaves about 4% for Republican or other parties.Source: http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/what_percentage_of_north_carolinas_population_is.htmlFactCheck.org is supposed to be a fairly unbiased source of, well, facts.
