Or within about a 15 minute drive
Price up to ~$20-$25/person (no booze), but the biggest thing is that the food is good
Oh, and no asian places.

Going to dinner with my HS German teacher. It is a special occasion, as I don't see her nearly enough.

Out at southpoint.

It's pretty good Italian food.

I'm not usually keen on italian, and I don't see her being too much into it. The Herr, however...

It's a backup suggestion.

Brier creek is also an option, but I'm drawing a blank for there (other than uno's and azitra), even though I've been out that way plenty.

^Brasa. Might do that.

I'm also looking at Bombay Grille right there at 55 and 54.

Other places we've gone are Carmen's Cuban Cafe and the Hayes Barton Cafe.

I don't know. I was wondering that myself.

The easier it is to get to, the better.

This is a woman who lived in raleigh for 20some years, moved away, and now can't get to glenwood south without ending up in Apex (don't ask, because I still don't know how she did that). With a GPS.

probably best to stick to somewhere just off the interstate

there is a chilis that's really easy to find right at the southpoint exit
though that's not very exciting

There's 3 of them. The 54 one is in Chapel Hill. Which I guess would also be an option. Plus it's closer to the highway, I suppose. Depends on where she'll be coming from I guess. The one on Fayetteville is closer to the original 147/40 specification.

Post something clever or funny and I'll quit this site forever.

I think I'm pretty safe on this one.
