So my company purchased Call Manager Express and is having a contractor in Deutschland (where our main office is located) remotely configure things.

Here's what's throwing us off here in the USA, because we asked our Cisco representative here in the USA about this and it appeared this was all possible...

Phone call comes in to 866 number, caller dials extension 111, phone rings at 111, call is not answered in 10 seconds, phone rings at 111 and on mobile, call is answered by the mobile

Is there a way for CME to play something so that you must press * or 0 or whatever, to know that it is a live person VS the mobile phone voicemail?

---------------------

Can CME handle VPN connections? Particularly between the CME and a Netscreen 5GT firewall (IPSEC)

---------------------

Can the phones (CP-7965) transverse the firewall without additional equipment?

---------------------

Thanks to anybody who's a Cisco nut, because this German jackass is making my life hell on Earth.
