Yeah, I figured I wasn't going to be able to finish by halloween so I didn't want to rush it. Its been back burnered for a while. I'm going as StarKiller instead. Next year, maybe.

I hand sculpted it, cast it in silicone, cast it in plastic, sanded it, cast it again, sanded it, and painted it. Each step involves a whole lot of time and work. Plus I'm OCD about this shit, so if its not perfect I throw it out and start over. If I'm putting this much time in it, I want it to be how I want it. It will be twice as badass next year.

It's not aluminum.

It's a process called cold casting. Uses aluminum powder, etc etc. Google it.
