i don't understand why people feel the need to capitalize improper nouns. it bugs the shit out of me.

i just received this email:

I agree that that is annoying. However, someone who doesn't bother to capitalize the first word of a sentence shouldn't be criticizing anyone who makes this mistake.

i do that as a matter of principle - i have a personal vendetta against capital letters.

as for business emails, though - i always use proper capitalization.
