ok, now that winter time is approaching, the lakes will start freezing up here.

ive got some generic hockey skates. I use to roll with a plastic hockey stick (i was never into it)

now i want something better, wooden, but i dont wanna spend too much $$. was thinking easton or louisville.

I believe this is too informed a decision for me to conribute

but I am also in the market for a fine hockey stick made of fine wood


i look forward to the suggestions that i will undoubtedly find within this thread

none of those pictured are wooden

they're made of carbon composite

and a good one will run you $170-215

there are cheaper composites that run $80-$130

but they're as heavy or heavier than wood

the advantage is that they keep their snap longer and the blades don't absorb water

a senior wood or wood/carbon hybrid stick will run you $25-$45

fwiw, a good pair of skates is much more important than a good stick

jason spezza scores 90 points a year in the NHL with $17 wood sticks from canadian tire
