i haven't been there in ages. it was 11:30, and they were the only place open on harrison near 40.

i find a grilled chicken sandwich on the menu. i figure there's no way they can screw that up. i ask for it with just lettuce and tomato.

i get to the window and a very nice older black woman took my credit card. she seemed glad to see me. i would find out why later.

i pull up to the next window to get my chicken sandwich... and i look to my left. there, directly in my field of vision, is a real-life representation of the girl in that mexican sharpie myspace picture. down to the sharpie-penned eyebrows. she smiles at me, i courteously smile back.

while trying to keep my composure and not laugh, i get my drink from her. she smiles at me again. i become a bit creeped out. the drive thru window closes and i hear her start yelling in spanish. i can make out the words "guapo" and "rico." i become frightened.

i wait for my food, staring straight ahead as to shield my eyes from the terror that surely waited to my left. she comes back a few minutes later with my bag of food. i get it from her, she waves bye and makes a very malformed kissy face that i can best describe as "meyahhhhhaha." i speed off.

i look in my bag, and there sits a fucking big mac. i decide it's not worth it to return to the land of mexican sharpie people, so i resign myself to no dinner, head home, and throw it in the dumpster outside.

i will not be returning to mcdonalds for a very, very long time.
