Dear Liddy, Why the hell don't you live in North Carolina? I have a rotting jack-o-lantern that would be a more effective senator than you have been. Why do you insist on running the GODLESS radio ads at 6am when my alarm clock is going off, jerking me from my blissful slumber into nightmare of you stabbing my flesh with a pitchfork. I always see you as that weird, creepy manniquin thing from Saw; Slowly rolling out of the dark, staring with vacant, expressionless eyes, and laughing at my demise. Also, have you had some work done? Your face looks very tight these days. Not as in "hair braided too tightly" but more like "fat person in pants two sizes too small". You may want to look into that. Needless to say I will not be casting my vote for you. It's not me, it's you. I'm just me and you're a bitter old hag. I hope you understand.Best Regards,CeilingCat

Dear CeilingCat:Senator Dole does reside in NC. Don't like radio ads with your alarm clock? I know this may be difficult for you, but switch your alarm to alarm only and turn the radio feature off. Perhaps you can find the instruction booklet that came with the clock if you need further assistance.Fibber Kay Hagan knew that she attended a fund raiser event FOR HER hosted by a member of the Godless Americans IN BOSTON. She can't complain if she got BUSTED for doing it, and then whine about her Christian faith being "attacked".quityerbellyachin

11/3/2008 10:20:04 AM
i couldnt vote for Dole after that godless america ad and having the impersonator at the end of the commercial. that was the nail in the coffin for me on this race but i hate both of those bitches.Dole is ranked 93rd. that should be enough of a reason not to vote for that bitchhow can Hagan scare you more than such a despicable woman]
11/3/2008 10:20:45 AM
women and blacks have no place in government^ please link to that study. pleaseseriously. cause i've looked all over for the study they cite, and most stuff online is from 2-4 years ago and none lists dole in the 90s]

I happen to like waking to music as opposed to a shrill beeping. The commercials do not normally sound like a scene from The Exorcist.I'm not saying I like Hagan...I've been pondering not voting for either and just leaving it blank. Also, thanks for being a douche. I feel much fresher for your presence in this thread.

I have to say that ad about Godless Americans is pretty bad, but how stupid do you have to be to take money from them when you are running for Senator in a bible belt state?Oddly, whenever Hagan refutes the add, she never addresses the conversations or campaign promises she made to the Godless PAC. She simply states that she believes in God. If you really believed in God and Jesus, etc., then why would you want to take money from a group that seeks to remove the relevance of your most personal beliefs from everyday life in America?I still voted for her because I think Dole needs to go, but Hagan is clearly a lying idiot.[Edited on November 3, 2008 at 10:39 AM. Personally as a North Carolinian I am more offended by Hagan's ads with the two country fella yapping about "What happened to the Liddy Dole I used to know?" (Perdue also has a radio ad with a couple of country boys.)Talk about a negative stereotype! The heavy Southern drawl and old guys just sitting around is not an accurate view of the typical North Carolinian either.

i don't remember kay hagan saying that she endorsed that ad with the rednecks reading the chinese newspaper.i thought that was the liberal senate crew or whatever they're called.(point is, they both suck but at least dole isn't a gypsy)]

What is this effectiveness number anyways? If it's (shit you've done in the senate)/(number of years in washington) then it's bogus. She was president of the american red cross for a number of years which would decrease your so called effectiveness number. Also, a few years ago when hurricane Isabelle hit NC, I was down at Adams Creek(where my dad grew up) in eastern Craven county. It's about 70% poor blacks and 30% lower middle class whites, no money or real political influence at all. We're talking like 500 to 750 people in the community. But guess who's limo showed up to talk to the community leaders and residents? Elizabeth Dole. I got to meet her, she's very polite and nice. It might have been an election year but whatever. She was genuine and real. She listened to concerns of all the people there. We actually had to leave to go get some work done but she gave them about half a day of her time. She's a winner in my book.[Edited on November 3, 2008 at 10:52 AM. Reason : -]

^ I don't care either that she took the money. BUT don't go running ads about your faith, you've done threw all that out the window when you showed up at the meeting.
11/3/2008 11:47:49 AM
I don't vote for a Christian candidate so they can implement Christian law. I do, however, vote for Christian candidates because I have confidence in their moral compass to be a clean politician and make moral choices while in office. With that said, Hagan claims to be Christian, yet takes money from an Anti-Christian group. That tells me that she has no true backbone, and will sell out to anyone for her advancement. What if Dole touted her membership of a group that was against illegal-immigration, but took campaign money from mexico? Wouldn't you be somewhat weary of her willingness to give in to something she opposes for personal gain only?

Minkagrl01 Are you paying attention? This was a fund raiser for Hagan held not in North Carolina, but in Boston, MA. Your post:
11/3/2008 1:06:45 PM
^^ Don't give me that garbage. They are a group made up of mainly atheists who are against religion taking ahold of government. Athiests believe there is no God, so yes, they are against Christianity and the idea of any other religion that believes in a god. When you're looking at a person's character, it says a whole lot that they are willing to accept campaign money from a group that is against ideas that found the basis of their (hagan's) beliefs. It's one thing to meet with a group to further understand how they feel about separation of church and state, but it's quite another to accept funding from them.
11/3/2008 1:12:31 PM
They are very clearly an anti-religion IN GOVERNMENT group, and not just an anti-religion or anti-Christianity group.
11/3/2008 1:15:01 PM
Do you see a senator's job as just a stewart for North Carolina? I don't, I wouldnt want that. From a senator I would expect from them someone to see his or her job as not just coming from NC but also as an employee for the whole of federal government, partly NC but mostly the US. To do this, I would want my senator to listen to people from all over (whether in fundraisers, rallies, etc), to grasp the aspect of lives not just here but from all over.
11/3/2008 1:15:35 PM
I'm not whining b/c I didn't "like" it. I thought it was tasteless and smacks of desperation from Dole. This is by far the most tasteless ad campaign I have ever seen/heard. I'd be ashamed to even be associated with that woman at this point.

stupid name for a pac that wants to have any power, but whatevsas far as out of state fundraisers, THEY ALL DO IT
